If you had to describe the characteristics of the new BASIC2 in a short sentence, these few words would be the optimal statement: „BASICally everything you need“.

But what makes the BASIC2 so special in terms of the combination of efficiency and performance?

Efficiency

According to the frugal basic idea: “Do more with less”. The BASIC2 is a one-glass plate inspection system. Due to the lack of a second glass plate and a turning station, considerable costs are saved. The resulting and deliberately high compactness of the system is another important advantage.
In addition, the high “Asentics” machine availability protects your productivity and is a guarantee for minimal downtimes.

Performance

The configuration of the sensors is variable. Regardless of whether a complete geometry check, a surface inspection, a color check or a crack inspection is required, thanks to the large number of possible configurations, the BASIC2 can be optimally equipped for every application.
The sensors are also variable in terms of resolution. While comparable inspection systems operate with “only” 5MP, the BASIC2 breaks this limit many times over and can be equipped with 12MP sensors for particularly high requirements.
