FASTLINE sensor and the highspeed crack inspection – high expectations are exceeded
In the summer of 2020 we reported for the first time about the new FASTLINE sensor and the challenging task of reliable crack inspection of elastomer seals, especially with a high throughput.
The requirements for the development of the FASTLINE sensor were clearly defined:
Highspeed crack inspection without compromising defect detection. This goal defines the unique characteristic of the FASTLINE sensor!
With the targeted and confirmed throughput of 4 parts/s and the high-precision 12MP technology, the FASTLINE sensor set benchmarks in the fully automatic crack inspection of elastomer seals.
However, this throughput must be corrected – upwards. The reason for this is the consistent optimization of the sensor, which enables a remarkable throughput of even 6 parts/s.
